The kids are both resting, so I am going to give a quick update. I need to upload pictures because we have some darling ones on the camera. Maybe I will get to it tonight!
Things have been so busy. We had to run to Benton this weekend unexpectedly to show the house! Unfortunately it was not THE buyer. So we are still in need of your prayers for that. We are going to be doing open houses not this weekend, but the next two weekends. If you know of anyone wanting a house in Benton, AR, let us know!
I have two hillarious (well funny to me) stories that Emma has come up with lately. 1) the other day we were sitting in Grammy's living room and Emma said, "Oh no, my boody just burped." So, Lindsey, you have company with your gas stories..... 2) Last night we were in need of the spanking rod for Bubby and could not find it anywhere. Mariam (Big Daddy's aid) said she has seen Emma with it earlier and thinks she was hiding it. Apparently, Emma decided we did not need it anymore. I searched for it and was unable to locate it. I asked her and she said, "You don't need that, I put it away for you." and "You don't need that ANYMORE" I did eventually find it hidden in a drawer in the bathroom. But it was so funny. Such a smart little girl.
Bubby has started singing a lot. He loves the alphabet song. It isn't quite right but you can tell what he is trying to sing. He has gotten BIG too. Well big for my babies. He is bigger now than Emma was at two. It is so cute watching him toddle after Emma and try everything she is doing. She brought me a flower and he had to bring me one too. He "shushes" people all the time these days. He dances to all kinds of music. He is ADORABLE!
I am recovering from a cold and hoping that it goes away soon. We have been so busy taking Big Daddy back and forth to the doctor that last two days that I haven't gotten much rest. Hopefully, tomorrow will be better. He got some sad news today that he has prostate cancer, but it is very slow growing and he will not need treatment. Thankfully. But I think after watching my grandmother go through cancer twice, he is very nervous about it. Pray for peace for him.
Well, hopefully I will get those pictures up. We have some great ones of the kids playing in their first mud puddle. They had mud from the top of their heads to inside of their shoes. SOOOOO much fun. I love watching them explore life. Incredible.
Hope your day finds you marvelous and life is joyous.
